Pets of the Week: Dog and cat available for adoption

Destiny
 
Age: 1.5 Years
 
Breed: Pug/Chihuahua mix
 
Background: Found stray in Oklahoma and transferred to NAHS.
 
Personality: If your idea of a perfect Friday night is staying home, watching a good movie and cuddling up on the couch, then Destiny is the perfect dog for you!  She is very sweet, affectionate, and friendly. Destiny
gets along well with most dogs and is very gentle around cats as well. She would also do well with children of almost any age because she is so gentle and tolerant. Come in soon and see Destiny…she would love to find
a home for the holidays!
 
Adoption fee: $100
 
NAHS is having an adoption promotion so each animal can find a “Home for the Howlidays!” From December 6-23, the adoption fee for adult dogs has been reduced to $100.
 
Other: All animals at NAHS have been examined for health and temperament, are up-to-date on vaccines and have been microchipped.  They are spayed and neutered at adoption.
 
Where to find this pet: Visit Destiny at the Naperville Area Humane Society. Hours are 5pm to 8pm on Mondays and Thursdays. 1pm to 6pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 4pm on Saturdays and

Breed: Domestic Shorthair
 
Background: Surrendered to NAHS because her owners moved.
 
Personality: Agatha is a very sweet cat who needs a patient family to help her feel comfortable in her new home.  She would do best in a calm and quiet home with older children.  Agatha would also do best as an only pet in the home.  She is a very loving and affectionate cat once she feels comfortable with you.
 
Adoption fee: $5
