Traffic on Washington Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction beginning Tuesday, Oct. 1. Read the full press release below:
Beginning on Tuesday, October 1, contractors will be reducing traffic to one lane in each direction with overnight lane closures from the West Branch of the DuPage River Bridge on Washington Street south to Osler Drive. The closures will take place from Tuesday, October 1 through Friday, October 4. Crews will be working during the day as early as 7 a.m. and lane closures will stay in place overnight to allow the concrete to cure.
Motorists traveling through that portion of downtown Naperville are advised to be cautious of construction occurring in the area and allow extra time to reach their destination since traffic delays are expected.
