The Cress Creek Commons Cobras Parent Board is pleased to announce their new Head Coach for the 2014 Season, Frederick Wennlund.  Wennlund is a graduate of Marmion Academy and Grove City College in Grove City, PA with a B.A. in History.  Wennlund is currently a middle school enhancement teacher with the Valley View School District in Romeoville, IL.

Coach Wennlund is not new to the Naperville swimming community. In addition to his teaching duties, Wennlund has been a coach with the Maverick Swim Club for the last three years, starting out with their Mighty Mavs group and currently coaching their Core 2 group.

“We are excited to have Frederick join the Cobras," board President Meredith Day said. "We will host a ‘Meet the Coach’ event prior to the start of the season."

The team is also already lining up their group of assistant coaches to get a jump on preparations for the summer swim team season.

In addition to residents of the Cress Creek Commons community, Cobras have an open registration for other city residents as well. More summer team information is forthcoming and available on the team’s gocobras.com website.
