Cookies are a Lisson family affair. Three generations of cookie decorators
including Debbie Lisson Keating, Marianne Lisson Kuhn, Rita Lisson and
Angela Keating work on decorating holiday cookies.
The cookies are laid out so the frosting can harden before they are placed
in containers. The family makes about 30 different shapes each Chrismas.
Decorations are carefully layered and placed on cookies during a three to
four hour decorating session. These are just a few of the dozens of cookies
made each Christmas in the Lisson family.
Rita Lisson still can handle the decorating tube at the age of 89 as she
decorates Christmas cookies with her daughters and grandchildren. | Photos by Judy Buchenot
