Gamble was also a First Team All-CCIW pick for the third straight time this season and was a D3hoops.com First Team All-Midwest Region pick a week ago as well. He has averaged 14.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per game while ranking 26th nationally in field-goal percentage (.591). He ranks 15th in North Central history in scoring (1,189).
Raridon and Gamble are joined on this year’s first team by junior guards Julian Strickland of Rose-Hulman, senior forward Taylor Koth of Ripon College, senior center Mark Lessen of Eureka College and senior forward Jake Schwarz of Lakeland College.
Third-ranked North Central (27-3) has advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship for the first time and will face Middlebury College (Vt.) on Friday at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Central time.
