Naperville Central has quietly climbed back into DuPage Valley Conference contention and potential top-four seed status in a tough East Aurora Sectional. That’s what Friday’s thrilling 57-56 road victory against West Aurora did for coach Pete Kramer’s Redhawks.

Naperville Central, which starts five seniors, has won eight consecutive games and lost just twice since the middle of December (to unbeaten Fremd and to Glenbard North on a three-pointer at the buzzer).
