Just in time for the holidays, for the third straight year, Continental Motors Group is donating eight pre-owned vehicles to the Naperville CARES Car Program.  The cars will be donated to families who currently lack reliable transportation to get to work at an event which will be held at Continental Toyota Scion, 6701 S. LaGrange Road, Hodgkins, IL on Monday, December 9th from 6- 8 p.m.

Clients who will be receiving cars at the event include DuPage County resident, Jennifer Davis. Davis, who is a victim of domestic violence, has an 11-year-old son and works part time. While she was offered the chance to increase her hours at work, she was unable to take on the extra time without a car. Also, without transportation, her son could not participate in extracurricular activities at school.

“This car is going to help me seek my independence,” said Davis, who will receive a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe at Monday’s event, “I will have some stabilization in my life and it will allow me and my son to live a more successful life. It’s such a blessing from God.”

“We are very grateful to the Continental Motors Group for again donating vehicles to eight families which will help them maintain their current employment and make everyday tasks like grocery shopping, getting to school events or other family appointments easier,” said Janet Derrick, Naperville CARES executive director, “Naperville CARES is truly blessed to have such wonderful community partners like the Continental Motor Group that support our mission.”
