Learn about hummingbirds Jan. 9

Members of the DuPage Birding Club will offer a free presentation by hummingbird expert Nancy Carroll at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 9 on the lower level of Faith Lutheran Church, 41 N. Park Blvd., Glen Ellyn. A master gardener and a member of The Hummingbird Society as well as the DuPage Birding Club, Carroll enjoys sharing information about the smallest local bird species.

Carroll will provide information about hummingbird identification, the best plantings to attract them and what you should know about hummingbird feeders. She’ll even have some “approved” hummingbird feeders available for purchase.
