Who: DuPage Children’s Museum’s will kick-off their Tiny Great Performances™ 2013-2014 season with a benefit concert by Jim Gill. Jim Gill is an award-winning musician and author who goes beyond static performance and creates an opportunity for family fun in each and every one of his shows. As a child development specialist, he focuses his concerts on creating playful interaction opportunities for children and parents. What: Jim Gill’s Contagious Tunes Tour will launch DuPage Children’s Museum’s Tiny Great Performances™ 2013-2014 season with a benefit concert taking place on Saturday, September 28. Through energetic music, rhythms, and performances, Gill gets the audience singing, clapping, and dancing throughout the show.
Why: The Tiny Great Performances™ series presents professional actors, dancers, and performers in a family-friendly, intimate setting with the goal of promoting a life-long love of the arts in all children. The season opener is sponsored by Restoration Community Church of Naperville with all revenues benefitting Bridge Communities, a nonprofit organization that provides transitional housing and programs to assist homeless families
