Get in spirit with NCTV17 holiday programming

The holiday season is bustling in Naperville, and NCTV17 will be there to catch all the action!

On Sunday, the holiday season officially kicked off with the Little Friends Holiday Parade of Lights. The downtown lights shone as Santa and Mrs. Claus paraded through downtown on their way to the Santa House along the Riverwalk. If you didn’t brave the cold, NCTV17 will re-air the parade in its entirety.

We also will air the Naperville Municipal Band’s annual Christmas concert from Sunday. The band graced the stage at North Central College’s Wentz Concert Hall and played all of your holiday favorites. NCTV17 had multiple cameras out to catch every note.

Next up, Mayor A. George Pradel and the YMCA will host the ninth annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast on Friday, Dec. 6. The room will be filled with holiday cheer as Neuqua Valley High School senior Katelyn Casey sings holiday tunes.

This year’s keynote speaker is Jarrett Payton, son of the late Chicago Bear Walter Payton. Payton is a businessman, philanthropist, broadcaster, motivational speaker, former NFL and CFL running back and devoted husband and father.

A special presentation also will honor Dr. Kathryn Birkett, superintendent of School District 204 for her years of service to the YMCA and the Naperville community.

Get in the holiday spirit with NCTV17. Visit nctv17.com for air times of all our holiday programming.
