The Easter holiday is just around the corner, and now is a perfect time to pay a visit to The Shrine of Christ’s Passion, a popular destination near Chicago. This unique, interactive pathway will take you and your family on a journey through the passion of the Christ. From the Last Supper to the Stations of the Cross, this beautiful shrine provides an artistic portrayal of Christ’s Passion. Here’s what you can expect when you visit this South Shore destination.

Interactive walkway

The Shrine of Christ’s Passion includes an interactive walkway that stretches along a half mile. Your journey through the Shrine will start in the Garden of Gethsemane and the Last Supper. Along the way, you will be able to view beautiful bronze sculptures that have been crafted by Texas artist Mickey Wells. These sculptures depict the journey of Jesus.

Meditative gardens

As you are walking through the gardens, you will also enjoy 15 acres of meditative garden space. These beautifully landscaped gardens promote a sense of serenity and spirituality. If you are seeking a peaceful place to explore your faith, the Shrine of Christ’s Passion is an excellent destination.

Large religious store

If you are seeking items for your Easter celebration, you may want to head to the large religious store that is located on the grounds of the Shrine of Christ’s Passion. This well-stocked store includes more than 10,000 unique inspirational items.
