If you are looking for some wholesome, fun family entertainment to celebrate the holiday season in Indiana, the Towle Theater’s 11th annual presentation of A Fabulous 50s Christmas may be just what you need to get into the Christmas spirit. This year’s installment of this annual tradition will feature revised material for returning patrons who have enjoyed the show in past years. Below is a sneak peek at what you can expect to see at this fun and wildly entertaining musical event.

Variety show style entertainment

A Fabulous 50s Christmas draws inspiration from the Christmas-themed variety hours hosted by Perry Como and Andy Williams in the 1950s and 1960s. These shows were famous for bringing the family together on Christmas Eve to enjoy holiday music, sketches, and whimsical Christmas décor. You can capture the same experience at the Towle Theater, which welcomes all guests over the age of six to enjoy the show. Music included in the show draws from original vocal arrangements and commercials from the 1950s era.

Show times and dates

Tickets for the show must be purchased ahead of time for afternoon and evening performances taking place from Nov. 30 to Dec. 22. Afternoon shows begin at 2 p.m. and evening shows start at 8 p.m. For both shows, seating begins 30 minutes prior to curtain, and you will want to arrive no later than 15 minutes before show time to pick up your tickets. No late arrivals will be seated until intermission.
